You might have noticed I used my phone for the photos of London Coffee Festival. Thankfully Thomas Harrison-Lord was at hand taking photos at his more professional level! Here are some of the highlights, and make sure to follow him on Twitter @tomhlord and say thanks if you reblog :)

Jon Richardson, you are amazing.
I haven’t seen Jon live in over 2 years and I miss him… I’m going to try to get to the Edinburgh festival to see him this year.

How much for that Lancia in the window?
Hazel and I, Auntie Margaret and Mum.
A Danish Political Drama | Who Would Have Thought It
I’m trying to decide if I’m so hooked on Borgen because it’s genuinely ace or simply because it is subtitled and 10 hours in length, meaning you have to give it 110% concentration not to miss every tiny plot twist or hint…..

Alternatively, it may be because Sidse Babett Knudsen (try saying that after a drink) is oddly attractive.
Albums Of 2011 | #1

Albums of 2011 | Still Corners - Creatures Of An Hour
This is a spooky album. One, because the sound is all floaty, but in a shockingly good way (sorry). Second, it snook up on everybody and blew everyone that heard it away. Cheesy puns aside, this is fantastic. My favourite album of the last 12 months.
Stand-Out Track | I Wrote In Blood
Albums Of 2011 | #2

Albums of 2011 | Washed Out - Within And Without
Seriously chilled out electronica, but not in the usual 9 track instrumental kind of way, but in a smooth, vocal led way.
Stand-Out Track | You And I
Albums Of 2011 | #3

Albums of 2011 | Metronomy - The English Riviera
As an album, this perhaps has holes. But, it is home to 4 of the best tracks of the year and that alone grants it entry to this list at a very lofty position.
Stand-Out Track | The Bay
